When Benjamin Bogler, a mechanical engineer, bought and used a commonly used backpacking trowel for first time, he was disappointed in the design - So he made his own. After a lot of testing, redesigning, stress analysis, charts for strength to weight ratios of materials and a pile of trowels of different shapes sizes and materials, BoglerCo was born - the lightest, strongest, backpacking trowel in the world all handmade by Benjamin himself!
